The walk starts from Merstow Green car park in Evesham (WR11 4BD). Head west down Boat Lane to the river at Hampton Ferry. Follow the foot path north along the bank of the river past the Rugby Club. At the end of the sports pitchs take the path that leads up the slope into the edge of the houses at the top. At the end of the path bear right along the road to join Briar Close. Take the next left along Queen's Road to Evesham High Street. Cross the High Street and head north out of town. At St Mary's Road turn right and follow that road to the end where you will find the entrance to a foot path down the hill alongside the railway. At the end of the path turn left and follow the track under the railway viaduct. Follow the track for a couple of hundred metres and you'll come to a path to the right that takes you to the footpath at the edge of the river. Follow the river south under the railway bridge passing Evesham Marina on the opposite bank. The path skirts the edge of Jubilee Park. At the southern end of the park a pathway take you to the right of a small wharf and back to the river bank. Follow the path past the weir and up to Mill Bank. Turn left and follow Mill Bank to Mill Street. At the junction of Mill Street and Bridge Street continue South to Monk's Walk. Before you get to the multistorey car park a path takes you down to the river bank and along the edge of Abbey Park. Follow the riverside path past the rowing club and along the edge of Crown Meadow. Continue under the new road bridge to and follow the riverside path along the edge of Corporation Meadow. The path brings you back to Hampton Ferry where you can turn right up Boat Lane and return to the starting point.
